Admittingly, it can be difficult finding things for your younger kids to do in a county ruled by attractions that are suited for Kids 9 and up. They can handle the sharks at the Ripley's Aquarium, the rides and tricks at Wonderworks, the special effects of MagiQuest and many of the other interactive entertainment centered on family, but kids in the age range of 3-6 might not be able to handle it. So what can you do?
Go to Dollywood before August 1st, 2010. Dollywood hosts a park-wide KidsFest that's perfect for young ones of any age. This year is featuring Star Trek Live, The Passing Zone, Mark Nizer, The Gazillion Bubble Show, Kevin Johnson, The Paper World Show by Mimirichi and much more! You'll have as much fun as the kiddlings on your outing to Kidsfest!
Dollywood is roughly 15-20 minutes from most cabins at Summit Cabin Rentals, though it would be wise to plan around an hour from your door to getting inside Dollywood, what with traffic, finding a parking spot, getting tickets, etc. Still, it will be worth the wait and with our specials listed below and on this page: , you'll be saving enough money to go out to dinner after and treat your child(ren) to something special!
